Happy Sunday!
“Don’t let this rattle you. You trust God, don’t you? Trust me."(John 14:1 Message).Jesus was telling the disciples all that was going to happen in the next few days. He told them that he would be arrested, beaten, and killed. He told them that they would all abandon him. BUT even after all the frightening truths he shared, he encouraged them to "Let Not Your Hearts Be Troubled"! Can't you just imagine their faces? I imagine they were thinking, "Jesus everything is falling apart and you want us to not be distressed or agitated?" That's Right! Jesus is still saying to us, "Don’t get lost in despair; believe in God, and keep on believing in Me.(Voice). No matter what happens in the world it is possible to live Worry Free. The Apostle Paul wrote, "Do not fret or have any anxiety about ANYTHING, but in every circumstance and in EVERYTHING, by prayer and petition (definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God."(Philippians 4:6 Amplified).Don't miss this! John 1:1 says, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."(KJV). Jesus is the Living Word. Everything He said has and will come to pass. He is also called the "Bread of Life"(John 6:35). When we study, meditate on, and believe the Bible we are ingesting, digesting, and being nourished by the Word. The Word we know intimately will set us Free.(John 8:32). Free from Sin, free from Poverty, Free from Fear, and free from Sickness and Disease.(Psalm 103).Jesus never commands us to do anything that we can't do. If he says we can do it, we can do it.Love and prayers, CynthiaSunday, March 19, 2023

Winning Souls
Happy Sunday!
"The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise."(Proverbs 11:30 KJV).People are quick to say, "You can't take it with you!" But there is one thing we can take with us, other people. Soul winning is our God given responsibility. While Peter was still overwhelmed by the net breaking, boat sinking catch of fish he got after following Jesus' instructions, Jesus said, "Come ye after me, and I will make you to become fishers of men."(Mark 1:17 KJV).
The Easy-to-Read Version of Proverbs 11:30b says, "Those who are wise give NEW LIFE to others." Don't miss this! We are Blessed to be a Blessing and that means giving new life to others. Bringing Joy. Spreading Kindness. Telling The Good News! Jesus is our example! He said, "The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the suffering and afflicted. He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted, to announce liberty to captives, and to open the eyes of the blind. He has sent me to tell those who mourn that the time of God’s favor to them has come, and the day of his wrath to their enemies."(Isaiah 61:1-2 Living Bible).
2 Peter 3:9 says God is "not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance"(KJV). God wants everyone to be saved, and to spend eternity with Him. Sadly, we know that everyone will not choose Jesus. BUT we still need to make every effort to tell everyone we can. Andre Crouch sang, "Tell them.
Even if they don't believe you. Just tell them. Even if they don't receive you. Oh, tell them for me. Tell them for me please.
Please, tell them for me. Tell them that I LOVE them. And I came to let them know".
Jesus Loves You. That's Good News! Good enough to share!

Evident Love
Happy Sunday!
"The test of the genuineness of our love for God’s family lies in this question—do we love God himself and do we OBEY his commands? For loving God means obeying his commands, and these commands of his are not burdensome, for God’s “heredity” within us will always conquer the world outside us. In fact, this faith of ours is the only way in which the world has been conquered. For who could ever be said to conquer the world, in the true sense, except the man who really believes that Jesus is God’s Son?"(1 John 5:2-5 Phillips). The world says, "Put up, or shut up?" and "Put your money where your mouth is!". Both of these meaning that there should be some evidence to what we proclaim. The Apostle John is echoing what he heard Jesus say years earlier, "The one who obeys me is the one who loves me; and because he loves me, my Father will love him; and I will too, and I will reveal myself to him.”(John 14:21 Living Bible).
When we really believe that Jesus is God's son it will be undeniable. Acts 4:13 says, "Now when they saw the BOLDNESS of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had BEEN WITH JESUS.(KJV). Malachi 3:17-18 is God's response to those who argue that it doesn't matter how we live. It's almost as if He is saying, "Wait for It!" Even if you can't see it now, everyone will see it one day. "Then the Lord All-Powerful said: You people are precious to me, and when I come to bring justice, I will protect you, just as parents protect an obedient child. Then everyone will once again see the difference between those who OBEY me by doing right and those who reject me by doing wrong."(Malachi 3:17-18 CEV).
